Transfer Steps
Earning an associate degree before you transfer can help you stay on track toward your goals. If that’s not possible, International Student Services can help you create a plan for your next steps.

Consult with International Student Services
- Your current San Jacinto College program
- Transfer objectives and questions, assisting you in developing an action plan
- Your existing SEVIS record to assess your F-1 status and crucial dates

Research Your Transfer Destination
- Make sure to check the admission deadlines and start the transfer process early.
- Meet with the international office to learn what you need to do and what papers to submit.
- Look for scholarships and financial aid for international students.

Transfer Out
After you get your acceptance letter, send it to International Student Services. Be sure to include your full name and San Jac student ID number (G#). You need an international acceptance letter unless the school doesn't give one.
