Are you worried about the cost of attending a four-year university? We know it can be overwhelming, but don't worry! Just like San Jacinto College, universities have financial resources available to make your education affordable and within reach.

What Are The Steps to Getting Transfer Aid?

To start your transfer journey on the right foot, schedule an appointment with San Jacinto College’s Financial Aid team early in the process. They can help you understand your financial aid options and make sure you’re aware of important admissions, financial aid and enrollment requirements at your new school.
  1. Get Prepared

Schedule a financial aid appointment with San Jacinto College to review your next steps. This may include canceling your financial aid, completing the FAFSA and completing Exit Counseling, if needed. You’ll also need to request your San Jacinto College transcript for your new university.

  2. Get Informed

Schedule an appointment with your new university’s financial aid office. Ask about priority deadlines for your FAFSA or TASFA and make sure you complete all required steps. You can also ask if you qualify for the Texas Grant, which is available to eligible undergraduate students.

  3. Get Aid

Follow up with your new university's financial aid office and apply for the TEXAS Grant*. This program helps with college expenses and is available to eligible students.

*Be sure to review the eligibility requirements for the TEXAS Grant.
