Harris Health System
Harris Health is a community-focused academic healthcare system dedicated to improving the health
of those in need in Harris County. Financial assistance is available to people who
qualify.
Harris County Public Health
Get access to a variety of low-cost, clinical, and preventive health services to meet
your essential healthcare needs through Harris County Public Health. Fees are based on your income and household size.
Texas Health and Human Services
Also known as the County Indigent Health Care, this program gives health care access to low-income Texas residents who don’t qualify
for other state or federal healthcare programs.
United Way Hotline (2-1-1)
Call United Way’s 2-1-1 when you don’t know who to call. Help is available, 24/7, for people needing child
care, food assistance, care for an aging parent, or a haven from domestic violence.
Personal Support
San Jac supports students with childcare assistance, food assistance, clothing donations,
and emergency loans. Learn how we can support you through a difficult time.
We offer tips to stay healthy, as well as when and who you need to notify at the College
if you contract a contagious illness, such as Covid-19 or chickenpox.
