The Early College High School program is an open-enrollment four-year program. It blends college and high school coursework. This lets your high schooler earn up to two years of college credit (60 credit hours) tuition free.

Dual Credit is a form of concurrent enrollment that allows students to take certain courses at San Jac while still in high school. Through this program, they can graduate high school with 24+ hours of college credit! This is also an affordable way to take classes. Students pay only 25 percent of tuition and fees for certain classes that count toward both high school and college.

You should first talk with your student’s high school. Most schools have their own application and process for these programs. You can also find more information on our Dual Credit and Early High School pages.

No. We do not require a SAT or ACT score as part of our admissions process. However, certain scores on the SAT or ACT can exempt a student from needing to take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI). If a student does not have a test exemption, they can take the TSI at any one of our campuses. 

Yes! We have many articulation agreements with colleges and universities. These make transferring a smooth and easy process. Students should speak with their program advisor about their plans to transfer.

At San Jac, we take student privacy seriously. Our employees are bound by The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). FERPA is a federal law that helps protect the privacy of student records. It ensures that only authorized individuals have access to them. Maintaining this trust with our students is paramount to us. Additionally, failure to comply with FERPA can have serious consequences, like the withholding of funds.
