Coping With Disaster – Resources for full-time and part-time employees
- The UT Employee Assistance Program (UTEAP) has provided some valuable information to San Jacinto College, as many of you are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Resources include Coping with Disaster, Emotional Recovery After a Crisis, Signs of Stress, and FEMA information.
- UTEAP has an on call crisis counselor available 24 hours a day at 713-500-3327 or at 1-800-346-3549. Phones will be answered through their answering service outside of regular business hours during this challenging time.
- The United Way has also provided a document titled “After the Storm Resource Guide” that gives you next steps when dealing with a disaster.
- Disaster Assistance for Veterans Brochure: A brochure to aid in Veteran outreach and provide Veterans with a consolidated resource of the benefits and assistance that may be available to them.
