Yellowstone/Grand Tetons Trip
Yellowstone-Grand Tetons-Mount Rushmore
In mid-June the Honors Program is hosting a trip to see some of the most beautiful natural wonders in America. The group will fly to Denver and then take vans to visit Yellowstone National Park (the first national park established in 1872 and featuring the geyser Old Faithful, the Yellowstone River Basin, and Mammoth Hot Springs), the Grand Tetons National Park (granite Grand Teton reaches a peak of 13,770 feet), Devil’s Tower (made famous in Close Encounters of the Third Kind), and Mount Rushmore. The cost of the trip will be $1000, which will include transportation, housing, and admissions. Students will be responsible for their own meals and souvenirs. The cost can be paid out in installments through June 1, 2019. If you are interested, you can apply for the trip through noon, October 22.
